It’s no secret that I love Romance books but I have to admit that Paranormal and Fantasy Romances are my favorites. P & F romances offer what contemporary just can’t…Magic! I love to step into a book where magic is alive and the impossible happens. I’ve compiled a list of all my favorites that I feel everyone should read at least once. Trust me, these are series that you don’t want to miss out on, specially if you love erotica romances! *This list is in alphabetical order by the author’s first name*
1. Darynda Jones’ Charley Davidson-
The story of Charley Davidson starts with First Grave on the Right, the first book of the series. Charley is a Private Investigator who helps the Albuquerque Police Department solve murders. Her track record is phenomenal and she always finds the killer. What’s her secret? She sees dead people. As the Grim Reaper, she has resources that others don’t. It’s much easier to solve the murder when you can interview the deceased victim. However, there’s much more to Charley than even she realizes! When the mysterious Reyes Farrow from her past comes back into her life, what she knows about the world and her role in it changes and she’s left trying to save us all. 2. Gena Showalter’s Lords of The Underworld-
They say everyone fights their own demons, the Lords of The Underworld do too. Literally. A group of Immortal warriors who have been cursed, they each carry one of the worst demons inside of them. Violence, death, Pain, Wrath, and more, these warriors must battle within themselves to ensure the demons are never unleashed upon the world again. 3. Ilona Andrews’ Kate Daniels-
In a world where magic has returned, Kate Daniels is the mercenary beyond compare. When a string of shifter murders rises on her turf, she’s quick to help catch the guy. There’s more to Kate Daniels than she lets people know though, and when her secrets start to come out, she has to choose her allies carefully for the battle that’s to come. 4. Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress Universe-
Cat spends her nights hunting down vampires and killing the evil blood suckers. As a half human/half vampire, she has a bit of an advantage compared to the average human Hunter. 5. Jennifer Armentrout’s Lux-
After the death of her father, Katy and her mom start over and move to West Virgina. She quickly befriends her new neighbor, Dee, but Dee’s brother Daemon, not so much. 6. JR Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood-

11. Patricia Briggs’ Mercy Thompson-

12. PC & Kristin Cast’s House of Night-
In the world of House of Night, vampyres have their own society, divided into houses. When Zoey Redbird becomes Marked with the Crescent moon on her forehead, proclaiming her as a Vampyre fledgling, she must attend the Tulsa House of Night. Zoey is unusual for a new fledgling though and she has more abilities than any of the others. Her new life becomes interesting when she learns of the strange things going on inside the HoN. 13. Sarah J Maas- A Court of Thorns and Roses-
In the Court of Thorns and Roses, the Fae and the human lands are separated by The Wall. Humans despise the Fae for past wars and grudges. When Huntress Feyre finds herself close to the wall to find a deer, she notices she’s not the only one out hunting. The wolf she sees is too big to be a normal wolf, it’s a Fae beast. Feyre kills and skins the beast for the precious fur coat and is rather proud of her Fae kill. When a Fae lord comes for retribution of his friends death, Feyre learns just what trouble she has gotten herself into. 14. Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter Universe-
Created by the goddess Artemis, the Dark Hunters battle the Daimons who were created by the god Apollo. The daimons consume the souls of humans in order to live a longer life. The Dark Hunter Universe is a massive series with several spin-off series tied into each other. The Dark Hunter Universe includes the Dark-Hunter, Were-Hunter, Dream-Hunter and Hellchasers series. It be confusing if you don’t follow the reading order suggested by Sherrilyn Kenyon’s website but it’s well worth it! Find out more about the Dark Hunter Universe here.
