Shelby and Jay are the definition of #couplegoals! They know absolutely everything good and bad about each other and are even closer because of it. The Roommate Agreement is hilariously funny, heartwarmingly sweet, and a perfect slow-burn kind of steamy. The chemistry between them is in dynamite proportions but the build-up to get there makes it total perfection.

My favorite thing about Shelby and Jay is that they are far from perfect, in fact, a lot of their imperfections are dragged out from under the rug, brought under a spotlight, and inspected closely. Shelby loses herself in a book(raise your hand if you can relate🙋‍♀️) and Jay is a total slob around the house. These flaws make the characters more real, like someone we might know in real life.

This was my first read from author Emma Hart, and as soon as I was done with this I shamelessly viewed all her other books on Amazon and added all to my TBR list. I love a good rom-com, and she delivered spectacularly!

Book Blurb:

You know what isn’t ‘temporary?’ The endless stream of dirty socks in my bathroom and empty food packets under the sofa—and don’t even get me started on the hot guys who take over my living room every Sunday to watch sports.

I can’t take anymore.

So I propose a roommate agreement. One that will bring peace and order back to my life, complete with rules that might just stop my newfound crush on my best friend in its tracks.

After all, there’s only so many times you can see your best friend naked before you start to lose your mind.

Rules. They’re meant to be broken… Aren’t they?
